The overall objective for the Sustainability of the Planet Program is to accelerate the worldwide shift towards sustainable production by improved environmental performance of products and services in the supply chain. Program development
The program evolves by a step-wise approach, enabling learning and improvements in the process of program establishment. Phase I identified the program objectives and layed the basis of the program. Phase II will shape and initiate the program's partner, funding and project mechanisms. Phase III will establish the mechanisms and launch pilot projects. Phase IV will expand the program by increasing the number of projects and countries involved.
